How to Donate Your Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
Cell Phones for Soldiers offers a meaningful way to support veterans while reducing electronic waste. By donating your used devices, you help transform “trash into treasure.” Donated phones are either refurbished and placed directly into the hands of homeless veterans or responsibly recycled to fund phone service.

• We also accept: chargers and accessories (in original packaging)
*All donated electronic devices are securely wiped of user data before processing.

Become a Drop-Off Location
Becoming a Cell Phones for Soldiers Drop-Off Location is easy and impactful. Place a collection box and marketing materials in your storefront or lobby. Once registered, your location will appear in our Zip-Code Locator, helping the community find your drop-off site.
When you’ve collected around 20 devices, just print a prepaid shipping label and send them to our headquarters.

Students, teachers, and parents can all participate in the ambassador program!
Student Ambassador Program
Talent Show
Showcase the talent of fellow students and faculty members by hosting a talent show. Encourage individual or team participation and sell tickets for students, family and friends to watch.
Bake Sale
Parents, students and staff can bring baked goods for a one-day sale. All of the proceeds will go towards calling cards for our troops abroad to call home!
Earth Day
Encourage students and staff to bring in their old phones from home for a charity drive. Optional: have classes compete to see who can collect the most phones. Winning class gets a pizza day!
Pancake Day
Sell tickets for a delicious breakfast to students. Offer food and refreshments for a set price. Students can also incorporate a ‘Card Decorating Station’ and have students design and decorate their own cards to send to the brave troops serving overseas.
